Carrier VSACC0401 Indoor Temperature Sensor

The remote temperature sensor with override button measures indoor air temperature at a location separate from the thermostat. This sensor is a three-wire, digital sensor. On commercial thermostats, the sensors override button is used to change the thermostat from unoccupied to occupied mode to provide after hours heating or cooling. Acceptable Wire Types: CAT5, CAT5e, or CAT6 network communication cable, unshielded with 4 twisted pairs of 24 gage solid wire. Maximum distance between sensor and thermostat using 24 gauge wire — 250 ft.


The VSACC0401 has been discontinued and the suggested replacement is VSACCTSENWB Ventstar Sensor with Override.  The thermostat must also be replaced with VST4900 Programmable Thermostat Venstar Slimline if model VSACCTSENWB sensor will be used as a replacement.
