The Honeywell L4006A1959 is an Aquastat controller immersion device that limits or regulates the temperature of liquids in heating systems. Applicable on boilers, storage tanks, and other applications wherein temperature control is necessary.
The L4006A1959 immersion well model can be used for low or high limit control, it breaks the circuit when the temperature increases to the control setting. A calibrated high limit controller is applicable for low limit control, but a separate high limit controller must be used. Its operating temperature range is 40°F to 180°F (4°C to 82°C) or 100°F to 240°F (38°C to 116°C), while the fixed differential is 5°F (3°C).
This unit features SPST switching, an easy-to-read control point scale, and an accessible setting adjustment screw. The L4006A controller also includes a heat conductive compound, a 3/8" x 2 7/8" copper bulb, and a 3" capillary. The advisable mounting position is either horizontal or vertical.
